About our cattery

I have conducted an Approved Outcross Plan (NZCF sanctioned ) using Abyssinians/ Somali to bring into the gene pool the cinnamon gene and add to gene diversity. Generation 2 have won BIS under many international judges. DNA testing to remove the longhaired gene which occurred at generation 3. Now working around Gen6. Burmese are an "allowable Outcross here in NZ and are looking to introduce the new Russet colour gene soon. As an international judge I have the opportunity to veiw a large number of Devons through shows or visiting breeders. I offer mentoring to new breeders and also network with other breeders both here and in Australia. We also have an open policy with our vets for kitten owners. Cattery visits are open to all kitten adoptees. Facebook (Loriendaledevons) provides excellant comunications with kitten owners and fellow breeders.
