About our cattery:

Crimden is a small cattery specializing in Devon Rex. Our passion is showing with CFA and our breeding program is the result of that. Raising healthy, well adjusted kittens who best represent the standard is our goal. Breeding is not a science its a process and one that is not to be taken lightly, We are working with established lines and clean pedigrees, our goal first and foremost being health over type. But I will say, we have a very Pixie type.

I currently have kittens avalible, they are ready to be altered and placed in their forever homes! However I only have one or two litters a year, so If you just cant wait to have a kitten, I would still be a good person to call, chances are I can point you in the right direction. Us breeders do talk and since most litters are spoken for before they are a few weeks old searching websites may not be the best way to find one, getting to know breeders is! So send me an email! Or give me a call.

*Please expect that ALL kittens and cats placed/sold by me or someone I refer you to will be Spayed/Nutered prior to placement and will require a signed contract. Each cattery has its own set of requirements and guarantees, please never accept a kitten without a contract signed by both you and your breeder.

Future litters in the works.

By Kathryn Peulicke - Posted on 24 November 2011

Hello, My name is Kathryn, i am loceted just 20 Miles east of Palm Springs in beautiful Southern California.I prefer not to ship but will do so as a pair, I also offer a discount if the girls go together. There is nothing like watching two devons play, or curl up in your lap!

At this time I DO NOT have kittens avalible, I am a small cattery (4 cats) with two whole females and one whole male. The fourth cat is my National Breed Winner, and two years in a row, Regional winning Gold eyed white alter. One of my females is a littermate of my prized alter, and is just as beautiful!

I am planning a breeding in the very near future, the last litter produced three show quality kittens and one pet. I cannot predict what she will produce in this next litter< however I have my fingers crossed!

I do have a waiting list for the two upcoming litters, if you think you would be a qualified, I am very careful where I place my kittens, please feel free to send me an emale and I would be happy to conduct a phone interview and you may qualify to be added to my waiting list.

Happy Devon hunting, my wish is for the right Cat to end up in the right home! Dont rush into anything and please take your time when choosing a cat or kitten for you and your family!

*** Please consider an older cat or retired breeder, as they have devloped personalities and YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR GETTING, as opposed to a kitten who may or may not devlop the traits you are expecting. Remember, you are making a serious decision in adopting a cat and you will be responsable for this feline life for years to come, again, please be careful when choosing an adult or kitten!

My picture's are too large to post, so I will have to find a program to resize before I can post pictures : (  But again, feel free to email me at anytime for pictures, at  thecrimden@aol.com

Adults and retired Breeding Cats looking for qualified homes!

By Kathryn Peulicke - Posted on 20 March 2012

Are you concidering an adult Devon to bring into your home? Well Good Choice! An adult feline has an established personality and behaviors, unlike a kitten who may grow to be perfect for your family or maybe not so perfect.

Be sure the breeder you are working with is willing to take the cat back if things dont work out. And ALWAYS contact your breeder prior to even thinking about rehoming your Devon, as it is the breeders right to decide if the new home is qualified to take in the cat.

I am currently helping another breeder place a number of adults, all very beautiful and all with their own unique personalities! Maybe one will be a perfect fit for you and your home! (these adults are not being adopted due to bad habits or litter box issues, they all are quality Devons and the breeder simply needs to reduce her population)

She is not selling these adults but rather loking for the perfect forever homes for them. A SMALL adoption fee will be asked for to cover the Spay or Neuter of the cat and a final health check prior to placement.

If your reason for looking for an older cat is Price because your not financially able to purchace a Kitten, than you do not qualify as a future home, as ALL pets have the need for health care to be avalible to them 24/7, and those homes who do not have the means to purchase a pet are in high risk  of not being able to properly care for them. Even the "Picture of health" cat needs a yearly check up.

If your believe that you are a quality home and are ready to take in an adult Devon for the remainder of its life, please feel free to contact me at thecrimden@aol.com I would be happy to chat with you and hopefully help you find the perfect Devon!
